14 illegals among 18 held at highway

IPOH: Two men, ferrying 14 ille-gals suspected to be from Myan-mar, drove their cars against the traffic for 100m on the south-bound lane of the North-South Expressway to escape a police road block. 

However, their bid for ‘free-dom’ was short-lived when police chased after the cars on motor- cycle and arrested the group at the Km372 of the highway at 10.40am yesterday.
