Joint effort to raise funds for animal shelter


MALACCA: The Malacca’s Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), the local Indian community and the culture-based Melaka Kerala Samajam (MKS) will join hands to organise a fund-raising dinner at Pay Fong Middle School Hall on March 31. 

According to the dinner organising committee chairman and SPCA chairman Vincent Low, the only animal welfare organisation in Malacca is racing against time to raise some RM150,000 to RM200,000 for the first phase of their new centre cum shelter at Paya Ikan in Bukit Baru.
