DESPITE Thaipusam being a state public holiday in Penang yesterday, the Malaysia Airlines office in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah remained open to cater to customers looking for bargains at its weeklong MAS Travel Fair.
However, MAS district manager (Penang) Wan Mohd Ebrahem Wan Hasnan said there were no large crowds as not many people were aware that the office would remain open.
