700,000 expected in Penang for festival


Penang Hindu Endowment Board commissioner P.K. Sub-baiyah said yesterday besides Batu Caves in Selangor, the festival was celebrated on a grand scale at the Balathandayuthapani Hilltop Temple at Waterfall Road. 

He said the annual ritual of paying homage to Lord Muruga had seen an increase in the number of devotees over the years.
