THE Penang Furniture Manu-facturers and Dealers' Associa-tion (PFMDA) generated about RM2.8mil in sales during the Penang Furniture Exhibition 2006 (PENFURNEX) three months ago.
State Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs committee chairman Lau Chiek Tuan said the three-day exhibition from Sept 1, held at Penang Inter-national Sports Arena (PISA), was a resounding success compared to last year’s expo which recorded sales of RM1.8mil.
