KOTA KINABALU: Some 1,500 people from Kampung Sri Tanjung in Putatan will be resettled in Kinarut to make way for the Kota Kinabalu International Airport extension project, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan said.
Pairin, who is chairman of the Sri Tanjung Squatters Selection Committee, said they were among 3,000 people from 600 families affected by the extension project.
