AN explosion of Japanese culture is set to hit Penang next weekend with a three-day Tokio Festival which will be held at Gurney Plaza from Nov 17.
The more modern facet of Japan will be introduced to the public during the extravaganza which is organised by the Pink Hibiscus Club, a body formed by long-term Japanese residents in Penang and locals to learn and promote Japanese culture.
