Items selling like hot cakes

COME early, or miss out on the best bargains. This was the message most people got after visiting the annual Sakura Charity Festival where loads of second-hand goods were on sale at dirt-cheap prices. 

Not that the bargains at the 14th Sakura Charity Festival held at Tra-ders Hotel, Penang, recently were of inferior quality. If you were among the early ones to get in, you could lug away things like table fans, rice cookers, golf clubs, radio sets, photo frames and bags, the variety de-pending on items donated for the festival that year.
