JOHOR BARU: Blood donors have been advised to ensure they are healthy before donating blood to prevent the spread of communicable diseases.
Last year alone, 643 donors nationwide were found to have blood that was contaminated with various diseases including HIV, Hepatitis B & C as well as syphilis.
