ALOR Star-based Sultanah Bahiyah Foundation has given RM25,500 as cash aid to 12 families in Kampung Setia Jaya and five in Kampung Dato Abdullah 1 in Yan, Kedah, whose homes were destroyed or damaged in a storm last Friday.
Kedah princess Datuk Seri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Sultan Abdul Halim Mua’dzam Shah, who is the foundation chairman, visited the victims at Kampung Setia Jaya yesterday to hand over RM1,500 to each household.
