KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s legal fraternity is hoping for greater awareness of laws among rural folks with the anticipated implementation of mobile courts in Sabah and Sarawak by the end of the year.
Sabah Law Association president John Sikayun said the mobile court system was not only for hearing cases but also to allow magistrate's courts to advice rural folk on appropriate action to be taken under the law for criminal cases including rape.
