PENANG is studying the possibility of adopting Xiamen’s bus fare payment system for its public buses.
State Local Government, Traffic Management, Informa-tion and Community Relations Committee chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan said commuters in Xiamen were given a choice of using either a touch-and-go card or cash to pay for the bus fare.
