PENANG: Operations at Penang Port is now 99% back to normal after temporary setbacks following the implementation of a new Internet-based management system, Pelkon3, on Sept 1.
State Public Works, Utilities and Transportation Committee chairman Datuk Koay Kar Huah said teething problems occurred because it took a while for Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) personnel and its clients to familiarise themselves with the new online system.
