Church’s first anniversary 

The Church of Divine Mercy in Shah Alam is organising a dinner at 6.30pm on Sunday in conjunction with its first anniversary celebration. Pink Fun Walk

Slip road closed 

THE Kuchai Lama slip road to the KL-Seremban Highway (towards Seremban) will be closed from 12.01am to 5am until Sept 11 to faciliate beam launching works for the new KL-Putrajaya Highway project. For more details, call 03-9173 2020. 


Sharing experiences 

In conjunction with World Alzheimer’s Day on Sept 21, the Alzheimer’s Support Group KL/PJ will hold a sharing session conducted by its chairman Cheng Chee Hui on Sept 23 from 2pm to 4pm at the Alzheimer’s Care Centre at 9A, Lorong Bukit Raja, Taman Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur. Fund-raising concert

Contest for highway users 

HIGHWAY customers can look forward to winning two Suzuki APVs in the Plus Merdeka Fiesta Contest that runs until Sept 15. They will also stand to win prizes such as a 42-inch plasma TV, holiday package and RM200 vouchers.
