HEALTH conscious Kelantanese are now flocking to Kota Baru to learn a new Taiwanese health technique – universal energy healing.
Since it was introduced six months ago at Padang Bank, some 2,500 people, mostly Chinese, have began to learn the technique which essentially uses the two palms. The technique is also available in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The universal energy heal-ing centre is gaining more members daily who are eager to learn new methods for healthy living, said proponents Leong Su Chai and Kang Dee Yok.
Leong, who is the former MCA Kota Baru division chairman, said among those who tried out the treatment were PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa, MCA Youth head Liow Tiong Hai and MCA vice-president Datuk Tan Chai Ho during their visits to the state.
Leong said the technique was the brainchild of Prof Wei Yu Feng, Prof Lin Tzu-Hung and Prof Lin Tsu-Chen and the pioneers are scheduled to be in Kota Baru and Kuala Krai from Oct 2 to Oct 14.
He described the method, also known as longevitology, as simple but effective.
”It also does not require complicated body positioning.”
Leong said universal energy allows the toxins in the body to be released through the metabolic system.
He said that it could help relieve basic ailments such as fever, headaches, joint ache and haemorrhoids.
