Alor Gajah in Malacca is a district synonymous with the legacy of Naning warrior, Datuk Dol Said, who led a rebellion against the British in 1832.
The origins of the district goes back as early as the 12th century with the Minangkabau people from Sumatra settling down there with their cultural roots that is evident till today.
