British grads have the needy in mind

THE British Graduates Association Malaysia (BGAM) has once again risen to the occasion to raise funds for a good cause, just like they had done in 2004. This time around, it is for patients in need of haemodialysis treatment.

A Royal Charity Dinner was held on Aug 5 at Shangri-la Hotel, aimed at raising sufficient funds to set up a new haemodialysis service centre in Balakong to cater especially for the poor in the surrounding towns of Serdang, Bangi, Ulu Langat and Kajang. The dinner was also a get-together for many graduates of the various British universities.
