CARRYING a small torch each, more than 2,000 excited students and teachers of SMK St Xavier in Penang ‘explored' the George Town historical enclave during a night heritage walk held to raise funds for the renovation of their school.
The 2km event last Friday took the students to sites such as the Cheong Fatt Tze Man-sion, Hainan Temple and Goddess of Mercy Temple. The walk started and ended at the school.
