MALAYSIAN shuttler Lee Chong Wei has been appointed the MCA Youth National Sports Bureau ambassador.
Bureau chairman Datuk Ling Hee Leong said Lee, who had great achievements in sports and the fine qualities of a young man, would be a very good role model for Malaysian youth.
“Malaysians are very proud of his achievements and MCA in particular is grateful that he has accepted the appointment earlier this month.
“His contributions will go a long way to help promote a healthy lifestyle among Malaysians, “ Ling said, adding that this was in line with the government's long- term campaign to make sports and exercise an integral part of the Malaysian way of life.
