KUCHING: The Sarawak Customs Department has seized almost 3,000 cartons of smuggled beer and 42,000 cartons of smuggled cigarettes in two separate raids here and in Sibu in the past week.
On July 18 the department seized for inspection a 20ft (6m) container at the Senari Port here that had remained unclaimed.
