KOTA BELUD: The Government has allocated RM25mil to upgrade the drainage system in Kota Belud in efforts to turn the district into the rice bowl of Sabah under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
State Assistant Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries Japlin Akim said adequate infrastructure, particularly good drainage systems, was crucial to realise the plan.
