THE Long Island Youth Orchestra (LIYO) from New York, with 35 global concert tours to its name, will be making a stopover in Malaysia during its annual summer concert tour to Asia.
Known for playing a wide repertoire of technically and challenging music during a single season, the 43-year-old LIYO was last in the country in the 1970s.
