THERE is a need to build up information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure given the growing importance of ICT in the business world, said Deputy Science, Techno- logy and Information Minister Datuk Kong Cho Ha.
He said the reason for the snail's pace in integrating the usage of ICT into their businesses was because small and medium enterprises did not feel the need for the technology.
