APART from water fountains and nice flowers, the spacious Dataran Bandaraya mall at the Malacca City Council building in Ayer Keroh has become more lively these recent nights, with a huge screen showing World Cup matches until 12am.
There was a slight interruption to the telecasts for the initial week of the World Cup as there was a small fire in the building's fuse box which caused the screen to cease functioning for a while.
