Baby Ch'ng Tze Thean, who was born with a complex congenital heart problem two weeks ago, died from complications during surgery in Penang to save his life.
His father machinist Ch'ng Kar Keat, 27, attended his funeral yesterday but his mother, clerk Loh Ai Ling, 24, had to miss it because she was in confinement.
