STEPPING a notch higher to make its movie halls more disabled-friendly, Golden Screen Cinemas have introduced a hydraulic lift to carry wheelchair-bound patrons between two floors at its 1 Utama cineplex in Petaling Jaya.
The cinema chain has 13 cinema halls at 1 Utama, spanning Level 4 and Level 5 of the shopping mall, and for the disabled person to go up from the lower to the upper floor, all he has to do is go into the lift and press a button.
