KUCHING: Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Sarawak will get a welcome boost when the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) sets up a branch office here in September.
Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan, who announced this on Tuesday, said the agency would be able to assist local SMEs in promoting their products overseas and enable them to tap into a bigger, globalised market.
