Support for villagers

RESIDENTS on the Bukit Gelugor hillock have rallied behind villagers from 33 houses protesting against a high-rise development in the traditional cow-grazing village nicknamed the ‘High Chaparral of Penang'.

Some 50 residents held placards during a peaceful demonstration on Sunday in support of the 65 affected households in Kampung Lorong Buah Pala.
