MIRI: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry has been asked to conduct l surprise checks on traders during festivals and when major events are held in the city.
Miri MP Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui said he had enough of the unscrupulous tactics by traders who took advantage of the festivals and major events to raise prices.
