Group seeks legal advice on revision of quit rent


The Kedah Chinese Assembly Hall (KCAH) is seeking advice from the Bar Council to ascertain if the state authorities have contravened the National Land Code when revising the quit rent rates. 

Among the issues of contention is the state authorities’ move to sub-divide the types of land based on nature of activities such as agro-industry, pig farming, service industry, tourism and golf.
