ALOR STAR: Padi farmers will not be allowed to use any other seeds other than padi sah (certified padi) from 2009.
Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the new ruling would be enforced after farmers were briefed on the advantages of planting the certified padi variety.
