Clubhouse for seniors
JB SENIOR Citizens’ Clubhouse is on a membership drive to attract more seniors between 45 years and 90 years within the Johor Baru district to join the club. Health check-up package
In conjunction with International Family Day and Teacher’s Day, Hospital Pantai Ayer Keroh will be promoting its general health check-up package until the end of next month. Priced at RM258, the package consists of a thorough physical examination and report, a comprehensive blood, liver and renal test, a chest X-ray, an ECG and two cancer tests. Rest area closed
THE Pagoh (south-bound) rest and service area will be closed until Sept 30 for upgrading works. However, the existing petrol station will operate as usual. Motorists are advised to utilise the Ayer Keroh Overhead Bridge Restaurant at Km210, Ayer Keroh Rest and Service Area at Km210 or Machap Rest and Service Area at Km74.7. The 9th Rainforest World Music Festival at Sarawak Cultural Village on July 7-9 will feature 10 international groups from Africa, Asia, Europe and North and Latin America as well as several local groups, including the Malaysian Dhol Federation from Kuala Lumpur. The groups will take to the stage for nightly concerts and conduct two workshop sessions in the afternoons.
