Maintain high hygiene level, canteen operators urged

SOME 27 school, and hostel canteens in Negri Sembilan received Grade A certification for maintaining a high level of cleanliness during surveys conducted by the state health department jointly with state education department last year. 

State Science, Health, Innovation and Technology Committee chairman Datuk Yu Chok Tow said the canteens qualified for the top grade as the operators meet all the requirements on the standard of hygienic set by the health department.
