UNIVERSITI Sains Malaysia (USM) wants to be one of the country’s leading research universities and it is working hard towards achieving the target.
Its deputy vice-chancellor (development and academic affairs) Datuk Prof Muhammad Idris Salleh said the university had submitted an application to the Higher Education Ministry requesting that USM be included in the research university list.
