PENANG: Patrols in the Penang National Park’s 1,381ha marine zone have been stepped up following the fatal water scooter accident off Monkey Beach in Muka Head.
Park superviser Noor Alif Wira Osman said he had requested the state Marine Department to increase its patrols in the park located half a nautical mile from shore.
