Parents hampering fight against HFMD

KUCHING: The fight against the Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) may take a little bit longer if some parents in Sarawak still refuse to heed the advice of not taking their children to public places.

Expressing his disappointment over the matter, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan claimed that some parents even sent their children to public libraries, fast-food play areas and playgrounds while they were at work or attending to their daily business despite repeated advice not to do so.
