Students learn about makings of opera

PASSION, commitment and talent are key factors that have kept the cast of M! The Opera working diligently towards making this Malaysian production a success.

Some of the cast members took time off from the final leg of rehearsals recently to attend a question-and-answer session with students at LimKokWing University College of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya.

The event was a platform for performing arts students to get an insight into the makings of the show, and learn about challenges faced by actors.

During the event, corporate organisations presented their monetary sponsorships.Corporate support, said Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia chief executive officer Leela Ali, was important in pushing forward the local performing arts industry.
