CITY HALL plans to build more neighbourhood libraries within Kuala Lumpur. The plan, said Kuala Lumpur Library chief librarian Rosidah Ismail, was to get more city folks to adopt the reading habit besides gaining more knowledge.  

Rosidah, who is also City Hall’s management department deputy director, said the plan, which had been outlined in the KL Structure Plan, was to bring together people of all races, ages and social status under one roof.
