MOTORISTS in Penang can look forward to a shorter route by 10 minutes between Pekan Genting in Balik Pulau and Teluk Kumbar by April next year.
This will be possible when the winding federal road connecting both towns in the southwest district is straightened under a RM56mil upgrading project.
