ALOR STAR: A former Royal Malaysian Air Force flight sergeant and his nephew won their appeal against a lower court’s rejection of their claim against the police and the Government for police brutality and abuse.
A. Palaniapa, 54, who is now a businessman, and technician S. Thayalan, 33, succeeded in their appeal to the High Court against the Sungai Petani Sessions Court’s decision on Sept 25, 2002.
