Pledge of better services ahead

RATEPAYERS can expect better delivery of public services from both the Penang and Seberang Prai Municipal councils (MPPP and MPSP) with some reshuffling and merging of committees this year. 

“Some of the committees will be merged and others reshuffled in such a manner to reduce bureaucracy and ensure a more effective delivery system,” state Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan told reporters on Wednesday.
