KOTA KINABALU: The outlook is bright for villages at the scenic foothills of Mount Kinabalu in Ranau district as a mini hydro generating plant will be operational in two years.
The 6mw station, to be built across Sungai Mokodou, about 120km from the state capital, will eventually replace an ageing diesel-powered generating station in Kundasang.
