Concerned over people’s mounting frustration towards the increase in quit rent rates in Kedah, the state government has directed officers to go to the ground to explain the matter to them.
State Financial Officer Datuk Ismail Hamid said this was decided after Mentri Besar Datuk Mahdzir Khalid held a meeting with district land officers and village heads last week.
