TWO high-profile entrepreneurs will share their experiences, views and visions on the e-business and e-commerce sectors at the “Enhancing E-Biz Entrepreneurship in Penang” convention.
Photonics Venture Capital Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Jerry Chin will speak on “Successful Funding for E-Biz” while Mobile Money International Sdn Bhd managing director Lee Eng Sia will talk on “Enabling E-Commerce” at the convention.
Photonics Venture is an outsource partner specialising in technology funding for Finance Ministry-owned Malaysia Venture Capital Management Bhd (MAVCAP).
Chin has over 25 years of international experience in the field of technology, including Shell, Hitachi, Hewlett-Packard and LH Research.
Lee was Nibong Tebal Paper Mills Sdn Bhd managing director and created two number one brands, Premier box tissues and Cutie Compact toilet rolls during his tenure from 1988 to 2000.
Chin and Lee are among the six speakers at the convention, to be held at 8.30am on Monday at Equatorial Hotel.
Organised by The Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES) of Penang, the convention aims to provide entrepreneurs with the platform to network, leverage, synergise and strengthen their 'economic and electronics' presence within the Penang Cyber City environment and beyond.
