EFFORTS to boost research into sago got a boost recently with the signing of MoUs between Craun Research Sdn Bhd and seven government research and development agencies in Sarawak.
The agencies and institutes were the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute, Malaysian Palm Oil Board, Malaysian Institute for Nuclear Technology Research, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Universiti Teknologi Mara and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
