Charity musical event  

THE Malaysian Urdu Association is organising a fund-raising event for earthquake victims in Pakistan. It will be held at noon tomorrow at the International Islamic University Auditorium in Gombak. Called “Eid Milan 2005,’’ the musical performance and lunch are going for RM15 (children below 12 years), RM30 and RM50 per person. Monies collected will be used to buy hospital equipment at the Mercy Malaysia support camps. Instilling good morals  

“ACT of Love” is a programme that promotes good morals among Malaysians to build a caring and loving society. A musical drama, entitled “A Gift For You” will be held on Dec 24, at 7.30pm. The show will be held at Dewan Wawasan in Menara PGRM, Cheras. For details, call 03-2144 6773.

Know more about batik  

LEARN about the art of wau making and batik painting at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre in Setapak Jaya from Monday to Dec 25. The centre is open from 9am to 5pm daily. Admission is free. For details, call 03-4145 6122.
