Part of Kota Kinabalu’s long-term plan to ease traffic congestion will come to effect on Jan 5 when outstation express buses will no longer be allowed into the downtown area.
Instead, buses arriving from the north and east coast districts such as Kudat, Kota Marudu, Kota Belud, Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu and Semporna will have to use the new City Bus Terminal (North) at Inanam, some 10km from Kota Kinabalu.
