KUCHING North City Hall is seeking an allocation of RM60.3mil from the Federal and state governments to improve drainage systems in several areas under its jurisdiction under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
Kuching North Mayor Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusoff said proper drainage was needed to reduce the occurrence of floods in these areas.
