MORE than RM40,000 was raised at the Karthigai Vizha cultural show held recently at the Dewan Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama in Scotland Road, Penang, by the Taman Hye Keat MIC branch.
Branch chairman L. Balasupra-maniyam said the money would be given to the St Nicholas Home, needy kidney patients and natural disaster victims.
