THE 147 Temuan Orang Asli living in Desa Temuan, Petaling Jaya, now have ownership over the land and houses they occupy after recently receiving titles for the properties from MK Land Holdings Bhd executive chairman Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar.
The group, previously occupying the orang asli reserve land in Bukit Lanjan, was relocated to Desa Temuan, a village tucked behind the Damansara Perdana residential area, when their settlement was being developed by MK Land in 1995.
